She blinked, frowning.
The current situation was sub-optimal, more information was obviously needed.

In any case, it struck Primeval as more efficient to simply bypass the organic and utilize subsonic frequencies to request the relevant datum directly from the TARDIS's control system itself.

It seemed to be a good day, the ping replied to moments before it was sent [/side comment: show-off]. The physical world seemed to blink out of existence, instead the lavender cyber-mare beheld and inky void, only illuminated by one brilliant point of blue light. In the glow of this light, a rough disk of stone spun, myriad tiny shapes circling it's outer structure, describing a conical vortex below the disk. Atop the whirling structure stood a hodge-podge of ancient structures that looked grown from coral and plasticized metallic boxes, mostly crumpled and unlit. The two building materials described a webwork that only connected at the very center, underneath the primary source of illumination in this vision. This large space, circumscribed by a dome of shimmering light, was 'boxed' in with the plastic structures...
... of course, one had to peer around the gigantic eel-like maw that was currently wrapped around the courtyard to see this. The evolutionary recognized this as a virtual display, and switched to wireframe outlines so she could see around and through the gargant, noting where it had opted to penetrate one of the Siluran structures before entering the courtyard, rather than trying to breach the airy force-field [observation noted for further consideration].
Zooming out for a moment, she took stock of the city's position, some 500 metrics above its former resting place. Curiously, she noted the structure was tagged 'Vol Oros' in the TARDIS's datafile[observation noted for further consideration]. Shifting spectrums, she found that in the parapsychic energy spectrum the city was alight with currents and flows... though most of it seemed to run down a central set of conduits and into the ... [highest probability, vortex source == Kelpie] yes, the Kelpie who were circling the city.
Primeval frowned. No, that was where roughly half the energy was going, the other portion was being sucked up by the two giant monsters [correction: one 'giant monster' has high probability of being a registered ally under alteration]... the crab monster and Riptide... who was behaving... oddly.
The eohippus shook her head, no time for data crunching, general parameters were needed first.
The distance ratio of distance traveled versus distance to the surface of the ocean was minimal, but the rate a ascent seemed survivable, and every metric traveled removed the cube of it's equivalent pressure. [error: no percieved benefit to reiterating basic physics to self]

"–alright, Prim?" the blue stallion's expression seemed troubled, not surprising considering the current situation.
Primeval blinked, "I..." [processing..] "Yes, Scribble. I have an update: the city is ascending, but that," she stabbed a hoof in the direction of the monster, "is slowing us down by devouring the city's energy."
