2014-04-01 00:41Launching herself off of the central tower, the immense kelpie drifted closer to the boxes, homing in on whatever had tapped into the magical bleedoff of the reactors. She hadn't thought that was possible, the more the scent of that magic enticed her, and pangs of hunger, shot through her yet again.
"If I can cut off whatever is drawing on that magic, then I can feed off it!" She thought with a wicked grin, subconciously running her tongue across her rows teeth.
Approaching the habitat, Riptide stopped just short of the Silurian habitats, her massive new body softly rocking the structure with a large wave of displaced water.
Her multitudes of tentacles, more than she had ever grown before trailing behind her to stop the water flow through out the city, the behemoth sea pony wrapped the central structure in one of her primary tentacles.
It was here, with the central building containing whatever being or construct that was feeding off her food, that Riptide came across a unique conundrum. How does one get inside a box, when one is several time larger than said box.
The hunger-addled part of her mind simply wanted to smash the building against the palace and then sort through the wreckage, whereas the portion of her mind still capable if thinking clearly insisted there were friends inside that wouldn't survive the sudden crush of water.
So the great kelpie sat there, wondering how to get inside. As she pondered this, the could only hope her friends didn't mind her being less than gentle when she grabbed the habitat or the one or two exploratory bites.
