Anti-climax
2014-09-21 13:51Sharp winced upon seeing Captain Harness smash his changeling adversary's head into sharps of chitin, thick ichor clinging to the stallion's hooves. "I think you've forgotten that getting the civilians and your friends to safety needs to be our first priority," the blue pegasus snapped, attempting to wipe off the remains of the changeling. "We need a safe location to regroup, and we need it now. Can you think of any place that might serve?"
Peeling his eyes away from the gory mess, the former Inspector looked up to find that Harness was not happy. "Er... I suppose my apartment is probably the best idea," Sharp suggested. "Since this timeline's version of me is busy with the EIB and Royal Guard fighting off the changelings, and I live fairly far away from the castle, we should be safe enough for a bit. Besides, I really don't see any other options inside of Canterlot..."
He gave another quick glance and the thick green mess below Harness' hooves. "Did you have to be so... Sudden?" the grey pegasus asked, both disgusted and disappointed. "I was going to finish him off in a bit, just not so... messily."
