Upon hearing the Doctor's words, the kelpie stood to her full height as she walked forward.

"Since you know I'm here, I'll just say it: You better not have just taken me from my people to simply leave me where you found me."

Anger and hunger boiled within her to make for a volatile concoction. Stalking forward she glared at the Doctor.

"Where those trials you mentioned to my people merely pretty lies to convince them to allow me to go with you? Because that affects more than just me! I need to be stronger than I currently am to make a good queen!"

 Riptide nosed the door open, contemplating sneaking up one one of her (tasty) friends, to hear the sound of upraised voices. She snuck inside, ears perked.

"...my dumbstruck compatriot here is trying to ask is, ARE YOU COMPLETELY INSANE?" Sharp Wit snarled. "How dare you play with our lives and then just dump us off when you become bored with us."

The Doctor took a deep breath, "I understand you might be a bit upset, but this is–"

"Oh I am not finished yet, not by far, DOCTOR." The gray pegasus spat. "Have you even considered how much harm you are going to cause if you put everypony back exactly where you found them?" The former inspector stalked back and forth, falling into the angry patter that had served him well in his career serving the Crowns of Equestria.

"Cain has only recently stopped thinking of himself as an object, if his space station is half as insane as the one you dragged us to, how is he going to readjust? You're going to tear Scribble and Primeval apart before they even acknowledge their dramatic tension?" Sharp slapped a hoof against the decking as he made his points, inching closer to the time pony.

"Myself, I was about ten minutes from committing suicide when you crashed through my damn apartment wall." He stopped short, much of his anger evaporating as he contemplated his next point. "And Ako... Ako was only moments from cutting her own throat. Can you honestly drop her off in the rubble with a broken blade and a pat on the shoulder?"

The Doctor shook his head, "You're twisting things. You are not the first companions I've had to leave behind for their own good, I'm ... fairly good at finding ponies new places and new lives to live." He laughed bitterly, "And even if you think I'm making a mistake... we've already started. I took us into the vortex as soon as Riptide walked in."
