The city itself looked skeletal. In the place of where trees and shrubs would be in a land pony city, here there were coral fans and spires created by artisans long dead. Sadly, the art had followed it's creator's fate, leaving the city looking like a bleached skeleton.
As far as Ebb Flow could see, the only signs of life color visible was the blue carapace of the immense kelpie currently leaning back against the base of the central palace and the ever present orb of lighte atop the city.
At the sight of the immense kelpie, who was currently creating an immense flowing net of water over and around the city, the group slowed.
"What the shell?" uttered one kelpie, unintentionally voicing what most of the group thought. Ebb could only smile contentedly, happy to let the other kelpie's amazement cement their decision even more.
"Come on, les not keep 'er waiting." Ebb said as she prodded a kelpie with a hoof.
At the sound of laughter, the older mare looked toward the city. Her old eyes finally spied an immense tentacle sliding through the water, a swarm of young kelpies atop of it.
