The Doctor watched Sharpwit head off, secretly grateful not to have to answer the pegasus just yet. 'He may be a bloody idiot, but I'm the fool who keeps putting the innocent in his way'. Instead the time pony tapped the Diamond Dog on the shou on his side, which was low enough to reach.
Cain nearly leapt out of his skin, having been mesmerized by the melee going on around him. "D-doctor requires s-something?" The technician winced at his failed attempt to sound casual.
"Nearly." The stallion chuckled, his face immediately fading back to concern, "Need you to get Ako back to the TARDIS." He looked for a nod from Cain before continuiung. "I need you to find the room labeled with an Omega... it is absolutely important that you put her in there, should be a couch or summat, and then leave the room."
The diamond dog nodded, fingers wiggling as he tried to figure out how to pick up the broken gryphon in such a way as to cause the least pain. He yelped when the Gallopfreyan poked him again.
"This is important, Cain. No dallying." The brown pony's attempt to smile mixed disturbingly with the scowl underlying it, but it got the diamond dog moving, even as he winced every time Ako gasped.
Primeval followed the previous incarnation of the Gallopfreyan, running through the plan a third time. The Doctor would apply a radio to Riptide's ... appendage, the signal from the TARDIS would be routed through her radio and cybernetics while she... [error unspecified data]
"Doctor, there is no evidence ...I can interface with the Vol Oros Console." Primeval commented, not for the first time.
"Tut tut," The curly-maned stallion grinned, "I'll grant you that your people didn't have much exposure to the stuff, but eohippi do demonstrate a latent aptitude for psionics... and with the residual background thaumic levels in here right now even a semi-conductor should act like a live-wire."
The cybernetically enhanced eohippus didn't look impressed. "You are mangling at least three metaphors that are not necessarily compatible to make that claim." She noticed that while the timepony made no effort to respond verbally, his grin widened.

Cobalt felt no more pain, all his wound seemed to have gone away now that the small meat wasn't scratching at it.
But Cobalt was huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuungry.
Small meat was too fast for it now, always another bit snatching away whatever morsel Cobalt could grab.
Needed to be faster. Maybe a little smaller, too. Cobalt grinned, feeling the body begin to warp and shift... until it noticed that it was becoming even more hungry; and moaned in anger and desire.
Chartreuse watched with disbelief as the monster groan, its limbs seeming to dissolve as the shell closed in on itself. He laughed, unsure how, but they seemed to have survi–
Taupe yanked on her assistant's tail, snarling. "Get behind the pillar, you idiot!" she hissed before ducking back herself.
The shell rumbled ominously, seeming to flex and buckle. Chartreuse needed no more convincing, diving for cover.
