This was the third time he had heard a single blow shatter over two thirds of the bones in a creature whose skeletal structure was modified for flight.

The Valleyard might have commented that the sound was almost musical – right before the Doctor beat him to death.

The time pony shook his head vigorously to clear it. Time was being wasted, best not to tolerate it any further.
