Sharp's grin of triumph fell when he saw Ako's expression upon seeing her sword shattered in half. Probably should have thought that out more, he chided himself, his ears flattening behind his head in guilt.
Suddenly, a flash of blue smashed Ako straight into a wall, a terrible crack of bones sounding through the air. Sharp's mouth dropped wide open in shock, the shattered sword falling straight out of his mouth.
Now you done fucked up, the Dark Voice snickered.
The grey stallion tried to ignore it as flew over to wear the Warbird had landed, delicately putting his hoof to her neck. She's still got a pulse, he sighed inwardly in relief to himself. However, his eyes caught what clearly looked like a pair of broken wings, and the pain of guilt reopened with a vengeance. Carefully spreading out her wings so as to release some of the strain, he turned desperately to look for help. "Get the Doctor!" he called out desperately. "Ako's been hurt! She's breathing, but she's badly injured!"
Turning his attentions back to the beast, his eyes darkened with hate. "Now, my friend, you've made a mistake," he growled.
