Silence in the library

"Are you just gonna dance around the issue?" Hunter mused, jabbing the earth pony in the side with a hoof. With another hoof, he pointed to something set up near the other end of the room. "I think he's over there."

"I... I knew that. Why wouldn't I know that?" He stated, waving the journalist off, trying to keep calm. "And I'm not dancing. I'm... nervously trotting."

"SHUT UP! The swordsgryphon bellowed behind them, bringing the library to a complete stop. It was almost unusually still, patrons and readers alike standing still and waiting with hushed worry to see what came next. Of course, an angry, wounded Gryphon, waving a katana around was enough to make them keep their distance.

Normally, reacting to this with shock and attempting to calm everyone down would be what Scribble would do. Currently, he found himself with the makings of a headache. It had been a long day already, and he was in one of the only places in the universe that he didn't want to be in.

Alright, alright. Scribble gulped down a breath and walked over to Ako, taking slow, deliberate steps.

"Ako...? You need to calm down... This is a library." He stated, as though that helped matters. "What's going on?"
