Defanged Warbird, Pathetic Gryphon

 Ako nodded softly, opening her watery eyes and wiping a foreleg across them in an attempt to clear the forming tears. She hiccuped, causing her to blush in embarrassment and duck her head a bit as a few more shook her. After a few more moments of hiccups interrupting her thoughts the gryphon groaned. 

"Well the- *hic* -n, I have no idea where to go from- *hic* - here. Lead the way Smarty-Pan- *hic* -ts."

The warbird gave him a half-hearted punch on the shoulder, a foreleg feebly trying to display some bit of control over the situation.
